Meet Our Team
Jeremy
Jeremy (and his partner David) joined the Paws & Whiskers family in 2025, taking over ownership. Jeremy grew up on a wheat & sheep farm outside Moree, caring and interacting with animals. Since relocating to the Highlands in 2017, he has looked for opportunities to support the local community.
He loves all animals, but in particular loves his own fur kids - a mini long-haired Dachshund Tobias and a rescue cat named Reggie.
Chenelle

My name is Chenelle and I am the proud founder of Paws and Whiskers Pet Care Services. I started this business in 2016 to support the Southern Highlands pet owners with the care and health of all animals great and small. I brought my background of working with animals previously as a vet nurse and kennel attendant and strong love and passion for all creatures to create services that can cover all your needs.

Favourite animal: My favourite animal definitely has to be cats. I love that they are always unapologetically themselves and its a process for mutual respect and affection.
Amy

Amy began with us in 2016 and has brought a sincere compassion and loving touch to the team. Amy enjoys being a part of your dogs health and well-being, dog walking being her main role at Paws and Whiskers. She works with reactive dogs as a specialty to ensure all pooches are able to gain exercise and enrichment no matter what obstacles they may face. Since starting with us she has also studied and trained in dog grooming with plans to further her career in that field

Favourite animal: Dogs (no surprise) as they are loving, always happy, and silly which she finds infectious
Jazmine
Jazmine started with us in 2022 and has been an incredible asset to our team. She has a huge love for all animals from furry, to feathered, and even scaly. Her work ethic and attention to detail mean your animals get top quality care during their pet care visits each and every time.
Favourite animal: All animals are amazing, especially when showcased on a David Attenborough documentary, however Lyre Birds are definitely cool. They can produce the most complex sounds!
Ash
Ash started with us in 2024 and immediately demonstrated such compassion and adoration of all animals great and small. He enjoys challenging himself within his role and is always searching for further learning opportunity to be closer with animals and provide a high quality of service to our clients.
His favourite animal would have to be dogs (he struggled to say only one haha) he adores them all, however definitely has a soft spot for them
